Biggest Influences On Donations: DM in Top Three

December 2009 -- Nearly two-thirds of Americans planned to give online to charities in November and December 2009, and their donations could exceed $4-billion -- $1-billion more than they donated during the 2008 holiday season, according to a survey from Convio, a fund-raising software company.

Men and women planned to donate at virtually the same level, with 64% of men and 63% of women saying they planned to donate during the 2009 holiday season.
